APPEAL FOSTER HOME URGENTLY NEEDED FOR JOEY

JOEY HAS BEEN WITH US FOR QUITE SOME TIME AND RECENTLY HE SADLY SUFFERED AN UNEXPLAINED FIT. UNFORTUNATELY IT LEFT HIM UNABLE TO SEE AND NOT THE FIT YOUNG MAN SHOWN IN THIS PHOTO. FORTUNATELY HE CAN NOW SEE AGAIN BUT HIS HAVING MORE FITS. THE VETS SAY A BRAIN SCAN COULD REVEAL THE CAUSE OF THE FITS BUT IT IS UNLIKELY THAT ANYTHING COULD ACTUALLY BE DONE FOR HIM. SO, WE WANT TO FIND HIM A FOSTER HOME SO THAT HE CAN ENJOY WHAT TIME HE HAS LEFT IN A HOME ENVIRONMENT BEING GIVEN LOTS OF ATTENTION AND LOVE. JOEY IS JUST OVER 3 YEARS OLD AND LOVES EVERYONE AND IS A BIG SOFTY IN THE KENNELS. HE LOVES TO GO FOR HIS WALKS AND ALWAYS GETS VERY EXCITED. JOEY NEEDS A HOME WHERE HE WILL GET A GOOD FEW WALKS A DAY AS HE HAS LOTS OF BUILT UP ENERGY SO NEEDS LOTS OF THINGS TO DO AND LOTS OF NEW PLACES TO SNIFF. HE WOULD BE BEST IN A HOME WITH NO OTHER PETS OR CHILDREN AS HE CAN SOMETIMES GET A LITTLE OVER EXCITED.
********************************************************* A VERY HAPPY ENDING
Scully our longest resident has found a home!!! She has gone to live with Andrew and Joanne Chapleo in the countryside and they adore her as you can see from the above photo. Every animal homing brings a warm feeling to our hearts but when a dog who has been with us so long finally gets the forever home see deserves it brings a tear of total joy to our eyes as well. Good Luck in your new home Scully you deserve it. ********************************************************* VISIT OUR EBAY SHOP BY CLICKING ON THE ICON
********************************************************* DONATIONS Donations to help us continue our work are always gratefully received and every penny received goes directly towards the animals in our care whether it be to help with vet fees, training or generally enhancing the lives of the animals whilst they wait for their forever homes.
********************************************************** | NEW DOG COATS HAVE ARRIVED As seen here by our very handsome Animal Care model Woody the new coats have arrived. As you can see they really stand out to people and traffic. With in the next two weeks, we shall have Animals Care's Logo printed on the coats so everyone who passes by can see all the dogs that desperately need a home, when they are out on a walk. So if you see a dog walking round with a Animal Care coat on with a member of staff you know he/she needs a new home and maybe you could help! |

Animal Care, Lancaster, England, was formed in 1978 by a small number of dedicated people who looked after stray dogs and cats in their own homes. Over a period of time, kennels were rented and the number of animals increased.
In 1987, Blea Tarn Kennels were acquired and then refurbished to accommodate 25 dogs, 24 cats and a large variety of other animals. The kennels were officially opened on the 19th March 1988.The Blea Tarn Kennels are usually open 365 days each year from 11:00 am to 3:00 pm. We still focuses our activities on finding new homes for stray dogs and cats and miscellaneous small animals. We are however looking to the future and aim to make full use of the facilities provided by the new buildings, which includes a state of the art cattery, a supply store room, new stables and rabbit areas.*************************************************************************************
