Old English Sheepdog , Male , 1 year 5 months old
Waffle is a handsome Old English Sheepdog who has just arrived with us and is currently being assessed while he settles into his new surroundings. We are still getting to know him, but his previous owners have shared some helpful information about his routines and personality. They told us that Waffle is: ~House trained ~Crate trained ~Good to travel with in the car ~Very playful and enjoys game ~No recall of lead Waffle will need to be walked using his Halti, as he is strong on the lead and can pull without it. He enjoys the company of other dogs and likes to play, although he has never lived with another dog before. Waffle is good with children, however due to his size and excitable nature (he does jump and can grab when he’s excited), we feel he would be best suited to a home with children aged 12 and over. His favourite things include: ~Playing fetch ~Chasing a football around the garden ~Chew toys ~Pigs’ ears Old English Sheepdogs are large, intelligent, and affectionate dogs originally bred for herding. They are known for their playful personalities, loyalty to their families, and their iconic fluffy coats. They are big dogs with big personalities and do best in homes where they get plenty of attention, interaction, and activity. As Waffle is still settling in, we will update his profile as we learn more about him. If you feel you could offer this lovely boy the home he deserves, please get in touch.
