By Road

From the South:

Enter Lancaster and turn right at the traffic lights where Booths Supermarket is.  Then at the bottom of the road turn right and immediately left up HALA Hill. At the end of this road turn right, go round the corner and over the motorway bridge.  Animal Care is the first tarmac driveway on the left hand side. Follow the track down to our car park.

From the North:

Go through Lancaster following the A6 southwards.  When you get to the roundabout after you see the hospital on your right hand side take the first turning and followup this road as it goes slightly right then goes passed the Bowerham Hotel on your right and as you start to drop down you will see a sign pointing to the left turn and saying 'Animal Sanctuary'. Follow this and don't turn off the road and you eventually go round a corner over the motorway bridge and Animal Care is on the lefthand side.

By Bus

You need to take the 2 or 2A bus from Lancaster If you get off on Newmarket Avenue you need to head towards Hala Hill and turn left when you reach it then turn right, go round the corner, over the motorway bridge and Animal Care is on the lefthand side.  From Hala Hill you need to walk in the opposite direction from where the road goes down the hill, turn right at the end, go round the corner and over the motorway bridge and Animal Care is on the left. Please do check with the local bus company for times and to confirm this is still the best service to use.
